Part Time Nanny Job in London
About Me
We’re a friendly family based in Ravenscourt Park with our two wonderful boys. Our eldest is 4 years old and will be starting school in September 2026, while our youngest is 1 and attends nursery locally.
Our eldest is an active, curious little boy who loves being outdoors, exploring the local parks and playgrounds, as well as reading, games and creative activities at home.
From September 2026, we’re looking for a part-time nanny to provide after-school care four days a week (Monday–Thursday, approximately 3:00–6:00pm) during his first term at school. From January 2027, as he settles into school life, we expect the role to evolve as he takes part in after-school clubs, with reduced regular hours but some flexibility for wraparound care, nursery pick-ups for our youngest, and ad hoc or holiday support. We'd love to find someone who is happy to offer some flexibility.
My Requirements
We’re looking for a kind, reliable and enthusiastic nanny, who enjoys spending time with young children and can provide a fun, safe, and nurturing environment for our son while we're at work.
The role includes:
- Collecting our eldest from school around 3:00pm (2 minute walk from our home).
- Planning engaging activities, both at home and outdoors, tailored to his interests.
- Preparing healthy snacks and an evening meal.
- Supporting with reading and school activities as needed.
- Occasionally collecting our youngest from nursery at around 5:30pm (opposite the school, also a 2 minute walk from our home).
- Occasional evening cover until 7:00pm with advance notice.
Previous childcare experience and excellent references are essential. We’re hoping to find someone who can become a trusted, long-term part of our family as our needs evolve.
