Job Overview
Schedule: Part-time (25–30 hours per week) Monday-Friday
Core hours: 4–6 hours per day, with flexibility for an occasional 8-hour shift.
Child: 1-year-old toddler.
Located in Finsbury area near Old St.
Core Care & Toddler Development
Milestone support: Encouraging walking, speech development, and independent eating.
Routine management: Maintaining a consistent morning or afternoon nap schedule.
Toddler meals: Preparing and feeding healthy lunches, snacks, and finger foods.
Active play: Organizing sensory play, reading books, and singing songs.
Nursery Duties & Pet Interaction
Light Housekeeping & Tidying: Cleaning up highchairs, toys, and wiping equipment after use.
Nap Time Support: Utilize daily nap times to help keep the home running smoothly by managing the light tidying wipe down countertops, and clean up after toddler meal preparation. Pick up toys, reset the living areas, and ensure main living spaces remain organized.
Pet tolerance: Coexisting comfortably with pets and ensuring the toddler interacts safely with them.
Pet boundaries: Keeping the toddler away from pet bowls and pet toys for safety.
No pet care duties are required for this role.
Experience: Proven experience with toddlers (aged 12–24 months).
Background check: Enhanced DBS check (UK) or relevant local background clearance.
