About Me
Hello! My name is Basmala and I am a university student who is going into her final year of History undergrad at Oxford. As I grew up in a family where reading was mandatory, curiosity was encouraged and having your own opinion was praised, I would love to play an influencing role in passing these values onto any children I look after. There are many ways to learn and I enjoy playing games, reading, teaching and singing with children as through a variety of methods, children can blossom in their learning and develop into mature, emotionally intelligent critical thinkers.
My Experience
I have experience working as a teaching assistant with children between the ages of 6 and 14, where I supported them in their learning and navigated any behaviour issues they had with curiosity and understanding. I also have babysat cousins and siblings in the past.
My Qualifications
11 GCSEs at a grade 9-6, including English and Maths
A Levels at a grade A*-A
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in History
My Availability
I am available every day (with the exception of weekends) between morning and after school.
