About Me
I am a patient, trustworthy, responsible and approachable person who takes pride in building positive relationships with children and parents. My goal is always to provide a caring and enjoyable experience where children can feel comfortable, engaged, and valued. My interest in working with children led me to complete a Childcare course in College, where I gained experience through a 2 year placement in a primary school.
Alongside this, I completed work experience in an SEMH school, which strengthened my ability to support children with different needs and challenges. I have also spent time caring for family members, giving me practical experience supervising children, keeping them entertained, and ensuring their wellbeing.
I enjoy encouraging children’s creativity and independence through activities such as art, baking, reading, and outdoor activities. I believe children learn best when they are having fun and feel supported in a positive environment.
My Experience
I have a range of experience working with and caring for children of different ages and needs. I completed my T-Level in Education and Early Years at college, which included a two-year placement in a primary school. During this placement, I supported children with their learning and development, helped with classroom activities, and gained valuable experience working as part of a school team.
In addition, I completed work experience in an SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school, where I worked with children who required additional support. This experience helped me develop patience, understanding, and effective communication skills when working with children with diverse needs.
I have also regularly babysat for family members’ children aged 7, 8, 10, and 11. Through this, I have been responsible for ensuring their safety, supervising activities, helping with routines, and creating a positive and engaging environment.
These experiences have given me confidence in working with children, building positive relationships, and supporting their wellbeing, learning, and development.
My Qualifications
I have 8 GCSE’s all grade 5’s.
I have sat my A Levels and I am waiting for my results in August.
My Availability
I am available most days, but would need a few days notice before a booking. If you need an emergency babysitter, I can work something out!
