My Experience
I volunteered as a leader of Children’s theatre sessions and summer camps at Chickenshed Theatre Company for three years. This was a highlight of my time with the company and helped develop my love of working with children. This role primarily involved work with children ages 4-7 and included; welcoming new children to the sessions and ensuring they felt comfortable, leading physical warm ups and other drama and dance games, 1:1 support to ensure sessions were accessible to children with special educational needs, leading arts and crafts activities. This experience was invaluable and taught me the importance of flexibility and pragmatism when catering to children’s individual specific needs.
More recently, I have worked as a private GSCE English tutor for the last year. This has involved teaching weekly online lessons to students age 16, I have loved having the chance to teach a subject I am passionate about and have learnt lots about how to keep young people engaged whilst working in this role!
Outside of work, my hobbies include acting, cooking and fitness.

I am available to start immediately and work most weeks weekends and weekdays (excluding 24th July-4th August) with lots of flexibility. I plan to travel back to university in late August and will no longer be avalible to work from then onwards but the exact date of this is not yet fixed and can be flexible.
