My Summary
About Me
Hi, I’m Goda, a second-year student midwife at the University of Greenwich. I am a caring, responsible, and reliable person with a genuine passion for supporting children and families.
I have experience caring for children within my own family, including babysitting and helping with day-to-day childcare. Through these experiences, I have developed patience, empathy, and confidence in supporting children’s needs and creating a safe and nurturing environment.
Alongside this, my midwifery training has given me experience communicating with families and caring for newborns and mothers in a professional healthcare setting. I understand the importance of providing compassionate, person-centred care and building trusting relationships with families.
I enjoy creative activities such as arts and crafts, reading, and spending time outdoors, and I would be happy to support with playtime, bedtime routines, homework, and light household tasks related to childcare.
I am currently looking for babysitting and occasional childcare opportunities that fit around my university placements, and I look forward to meeting your family.
My Experience
I have experience caring for children within my own family, including regular babysitting and supporting with day-to-day childcare. My responsibilities have included supervising play, preparing meals and snacks, helping with bedtime routines, and ensuring children are cared for in a safe and nurturing environment.
In addition, as a second-year student midwife at the University of Greenwich, I have experience supporting women, newborn babies, and families in clinical settings. This has helped me develop strong communication skills, patience, compassion, and the ability to remain calm and responsible in a caring role.
My Qualifications
I am currently a second-year student midwife at the University of Greenwich, where I am gaining experience supporting women, newborn babies, and families in a healthcare setting. My training has helped me develop excellent communication skills, patience, responsibility, and the ability to remain calm in caring situations.
In addition, I previously worked at a bowling centre where I regularly hosted and supervised children’s parties. This role involved organising activities, engaging with large groups of children, ensuring their safety, and creating a fun and positive environment.
Through both my studies and previous work experience, I have developed strong skills in providing safe, compassionate, and family-centred care.
