Hi, I’m Priscilla, a registered, DBS-checked childminder based near Central Park (PE1 area).

I offer a warm, nurturing, early years-focused setting, working independently with two dedicated childcare spaces in my home and a large, child-friendly garden full of toys and opportunities for outdoor play. School pick-ups may also be available upon request, subject to availability.

I have 5 years’ experience as a Primary School Teaching Assistant, a degree in Education, and certificates in Early Years Learning and Development and Paediatric First Aid. I’m passionate about giving children the best possible start in life and committed to continually developing my knowledge and skills through ongoing professional development courses. This allows me to strengthen my practice, build on my experience and keep up to date with current approaches to children’s learning and development.

I love providing children with exciting opportunities to explore the world around them, learn new things and build confidence beyond the home environment. I hold annual passes for Hamerton Zoo Park, Sacrewell Farm and Activity World, allowing us to enjoy regular visits, new adventures and plenty of opportunities for fun and learning.

We also enjoy outdoor adventures at Fineshade Woods and local parks, as well as soft play, playgroups and other outings that encourage social interaction, physical development and learning through play.

Our days are full of exciting experiences, including walks, messy play, cooking, garden time, singing, physical activities and exploring the outdoors. I also love baking and cake decorating, which the children enjoy getting involved in too!

My aim is to provide a safe, happy and caring environment where every child feels secure, valued and encouraged to learn, grow and develop at their own pace. I believe children learn best through a balance of play, exploration, new experiences and meaningful relationships.
