Rayne
Nanny in Purley (also available for babysitting)
My Summary
About Me
Hi! I’m Rayne, a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic childcare professional with experience supporting children from newborns through to primary school age. I genuinely enjoy creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children feel happy, supported, and encouraged to learn and grow.
In my free time, I love practising yoga, writing poetry, and cooking. These hobbies have helped me become a patient, creative, and calm person—qualities I bring into my childcare. I enjoy planning engaging activities, reading stories, arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, and helping children explore their interests in a positive and encouraging way.
I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident leaving their children in someone else’s care, so I always aim to build trusting relationships through open communication, reliability, and kindness. Whether you need a babysitter for occasional evenings or a nanny for regular support, I would love the opportunity to get to know your family and provide the best care possible.
My Experience
I have experience caring for children in a variety of settings, including babysitting, after-school nannying, and event nannying. Through these roles, I’ve supported children of different ages with school pick-ups, preparing meals and snacks, helping with homework, planning fun and engaging activities, bedtime routines, and creating a safe, positive environment where they feel happy and cared for.
Alongside my childcare roles, I have completed work experience in both primary schools and nurseries, where I supported children’s learning and development, encouraged play-based activities, and worked alongside teachers and nursery staff to meet each child’s individual needs. These experiences have strengthened my communication skills, patience, and ability to build trusting relationships with both children and their families.
I genuinely enjoy working with children and pride myself on being reliable, nurturing, and adaptable. My goal is always to provide high-quality care that gives parents peace of mind while ensuring children feel safe, supported, and valued.
My Qualifications
I am currently studying for a BA (Hons) in Criminology at university, which has strengthened my understanding of safeguarding, communication, and working with people from a variety of backgrounds. I have also achieved my GCSEs and a Level 3 Extended Diploma.
Alongside my education, I have completed work experience in both nursery and primary school settings and have gained practical childcare experience through babysitting, after-school nannying, and event nannying. These experiences have helped me develop patience, responsibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of different ages.
