About Me
I am a SEN teaching assistant during school term time. I have always loved spending time with children and have worked or volunteered with children since I was a teenager. I am calm and empathetic. I will adapt to the needs of the child and routines of the family.
My Experience
I have worked with children aged 0-11 for the last 10 years, both in educational and play based settings. I am currently a SEN teaching assistant in a specialist setting so have experiencing supporting children with complex needs. I am trained in Makaton and have undertaken in depth safeguarding training. I have worked mainly with non-verbal children so have experience in supporting communication through play and intensive interaction. I am used to communication support systems.
My Qualifications
I have a degree in children and families work. I have Level 2 Makaton training.
My Availability
In the school term I am available on weekends and evenings. In the holidays there may be more availability for extra session.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £15.00 per hour
I am open to discussing fees based on the needs of the child and am sensitive to family situations so can be flexible.
