Looking for help/support part time
About Me
My husband and I live in Greenwich and recently welcomed our little girl into the world. As he transitions back to full time work I’d like support with child care on the days he is away.
We are a young professional couple, well travelled and well educated of mixed heritage. Our primary language is English although we also speak Urdu and German and sprinkle French and a little Spanish in the mix. It would be amazing if you have any of the languages too to support little one’s knowledge, but not a pre-requisite!
We also have 2 friendly indoor bengal cats at home who love a pet and a chat! They won’t require your help but if you have allergies or phobias then unfortunately this won’t work.
My Requirements
Our little girl is 10weeks old and has reflux so care for her will require someone with patience in managing her feeds, winding her well and generally managing the condition. As she is becoming more aware, support with play, tummy time and age appropriate skills would be a key requirement. The idea is to have a safe pair of hands in our home to free up some time for me to do housework and get to the gym. On rare occasions we would like to have this safe pair of hands also babysit for an evening out for the 2 of us!
This might be 2 mornings or afternoons to begin with so the availability shown is the days it would be most needed. From time to time we might also need evening/weekend baby sitting for rare couple nights out but would be discussed and agreed in advance with you.
I’d like to start by trialling a few different people as this is all very new to us but I hope we can find the right person to build a connection with as eventually I will be returning to work too so I will need more help on a full time basis. This help might look like child minding or something else but we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it!
