My Requirements

Hello! We are looking for a loving, professional, and CIW-registered childminder for our daughter, who will be around 1 year old when we hope to start childcare.

We are based in Cardiff and are looking for a setting in or within easy reach of the Birchgrove and Heath areas. We are hoping to secure a part-time place for 3 days a week.

What We Are Looking For:
A "Home-from-Home" Environment: We highly value a warm, nurturing, and cosy family atmosphere where our daughter can feel safe, settled, and close to a consistent caregiver.

Nature & Sensory Play: We love the outdoors and would appreciate a setting that prioritises daily opportunities to connect with nature, alongside plenty of engaging sensory play activities to support her development.

Active Daily Routines & Playgroups: We would love a childminder who prioritises daily fresh air and outdoor exploration. It is important to us that she has opportunities to socialise and attend local playgroups and library story times regularly.

Support for a Multilingual Household: Our daughter is growing up in a multilingual home environment. We are looking for a patient understanding from a caregiver who can support her communication development as she navigates her languages.

Qualifications: Must have an up-to-date Paediatric First Aid certificate, valid DBS checks (including any adults in the household), and a current CIW registration with a good inspection history.

Ideal Start Date:
We are looking ahead and planning to start around Feburary 2027, including some settling-in sessions shortly before.
