My Experience

Whilst au pairing for the 3 girls in Madrid, my responsibilities included waking the kids and helping them to get ready for the day, dropping them off at activities and picking them up, playing games and finding crafts to do, and taking them to the pool, as well as preparing lunch.

From the age of around 14, I have spent my summers in a Spanish Canary Island, babysitting 2 girls. I usually care for them (ensure they have everything they need, get everything done, make basic meals etc) and entertain them (take them to the pool/ beach, play with them around the complex, take them to the park, go for a walk, make crafts etc), during the day whilst their mum is at work, and am more than happy to stay over at night when their mum is going out with friends.

I have experience coaching younger kids at gymnastics and have taught numerous physical education lessons to children aged 4-11 whilst I gained my Higher Sports Leadership qualification, which has taught me how to keep kids focused on tasks, help them resolve disputes and upsets, as well as making things fun for them.

I have tutored younger kids which has allowed me to develop strategies to help kids learn, and also has showed me that every child learns differently.

My Qualifications

I have a 2:1 in mathematics and statistics BSc (Hons).

My Availability

I am available all weekdays and weekends.
