My Experience

Since the age of 15, I have babysat children between the ages of 5 and 11, gaining several years of hands-on, consistent experience. Over this time, I’ve cared for kids across a range of personalities and needs, often looking after more than one child at a time. My responsibilities have included preparing meals and snacks, supervising homework and reading time, organising games and creative activities, managing bedtime and bath-time routines, and ensuring a safe, structured environment throughout. I’ve also handled everyday challenges that come with childcare, such as resolving disputes between siblings, adapting to different household rules, and staying calm and responsive in unexpected situations. This long-term experience has helped me build strong communication skills with both children and parents, along with the reliability and trustworthiness that comes from being asked back repeatedly by the same families.

My Qualifications

While I don’t hold formal childcare certifications, I bring a strong sense of responsibility, maturity, and reliability to every role I take on. I am preparing to begin university to study Law, which has helped me develop excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills, all of which translate directly into providing attentive, structured, and dependable childcare. I take a thoughtful and patient approach to looking after children, and I’m committed to creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for every child in my care.

I currently have no other commitments, which means I have flexible availability and can accommodate babysitting requests as needed. Whether you require regular, ongoing care or occasional one-off sessions, I’m happy to work around your schedule and can be available upon request.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
