My Experience

have gained valuable childcare experience through caring for children within my own family. While I have not worked as a professional babysitter before, I have regularly looked after my 10-year-old brother and have taken responsibility for him when he has been unwell and my parents have needed to be at work. This has involved making sure he is safe and comfortable, preparing food, keeping him entertained, and providing support when he needs extra care.

I have also spent a lot of time looking after my younger cousins, helping with supervision, activities, and ensuring they are happy and well looked after. Through these experiences, I have developed patience, responsibility, and the ability to understand and respond to children’s different personalities and needs.

I enjoy spending time with children and creating a positive environment where they feel comfortable, supported, and able to have fun while being cared for.

My Qualifications

I am currently studying Accounting and Finance at the University of Kent. Before starting university, I completed my GCSEs and A-levels, which helped me develop strong organisation, communication, and time-management skills.

My studies require me to be responsible, committed, and able to manage my time effectively. I believe these skills are also important when caring for children, as babysitting requires patience, reliability, and the ability to handle different situations calmly.

I am a responsible and trustworthy person who takes commitments seriously and understands the importance of providing children with a safe and positive experience.
