I’m currently working as an Early Years Practitioner in a busy day nursery, and I'm a dedicated, compassionate, and highly qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner with a genuine passion for supporting children to learn, grow, and thrive. I have extensive experience caring for babies and young children, planning engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework, and creating safe, stimulating, and nurturing environments where every child can reach their full potential.
I hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service and am fully trained in Paediatric First Aid, giving families confidence that their children are in safe and capable hands. I pride myself on being patient, reliable, organised, and able to build strong, trusting relationships with both children and parents. My Experience
I have over three years of experience caring for babies and young children in an Early Years setting, using the EYFS framework to plan and deliver engaging, educational, and age-appropriate activities that support children's learning and development. In addition, I have more than eight years of experience working as a support worker, providing specialist care for children with complex medical needs, including ventilation and tracheostomy care. I am committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive through play. I consistently maintain the highest standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and work closely with families and colleagues to support each child's individual needs and promote their overall wellbeing.
My Qualifications
I hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years workforce and have completed a range of professional training to ensure I can provide high-quality, safe, and nurturing care for children. I am fully trained in Paediatric First Aid and hold a current Safeguarding certificate. I have additional specialist training in caring for children with complex medical needs, including tracheostomy and ventilation care, personal care, and the safe administration of medication such as nebulisers and inhalers. I also hold certificates in Food Hygiene, Allergy Awareness, and Preventing Choking in Babies. These qualifications have given me the knowledge and confidence to support children with a wide range of needs while ensuring their health, safety, and well-being are always my top priority. I am committed to maintaining my professional development and keeping my training up to date so I can provide the highest standard of care to every child.
My Availability
I am available to work after I drop my daughter off at breakfast club, which is by 8:00 a.m. Depending on the location, I am happy to take your child with me when I collect my daughter from school and supervise both children until you arrive home, usually before 6:00 p.m. My daughter sometimes attends an after-school club, in which case I would need to collect her before 6:00 p.m. I am flexible and will do my best to work around your family's needs while balancing my own availability. I am reliable, organised, and committed to providing a safe, caring, and supportive environment for your child.
