My Experience

Through my time volunteering with Girlguiding, I worked closely with children and their families to help create a safe, fun and nurturing environment where every child felt valued and included. I assisted with planning engaging activities, encouraged children’s confidence and independence, while keeping their wellbeing as a priority. This experience strengthened my patience, communication skills and ability to build trusting relationships with both children and parents. Alongside this, my role in the Selfridges Kids Department has further developed my communication skills and ability to engage positively with children and parents in a professional setting. I genuinely enjoy helping children feel happy, comfortable and cared for.

My Qualifications

While I do not yet hold formal childcare qualifications, my experience with Girlguiding and my role in the Kids Department at Selfridges have given me a strong foundation in working with children and supporting families. I am committed to providing safe, reliable and attentive care, and I am currently working towards obtaining an Enhanced DBS check and a Paediatric First Aid certificate to further strengthen my childcare qualifications.

My Availability

As I work part-time, my availability varies slightly each week. However, I receive my rota in advance and am happy to arrange babysitting around my shifts. I’m available on many evenings, weekends and during my days off, with flexibility for regular or occasional bookings.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour

My standard rate is £12 per hour for one child. Rates may vary depending on the number of children, late night bookings or additional responsibilities. Please feel free to get in touch to discuss your family’s needs. I’m always happy to help where I can.
