About Me
Rainbow Roots Childcare offers a warm, home-from-home environment where children feel safe, valued and inspired to thrive. As a mother to my 3yr old son, I understand the importance of providing a nurturing, caring environment where every child feels happy, secure and loved. We enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible, exploring the beautiful nature and green spaces the Vale of Glamorgan has to offer, encouraging curiosity, confidence and a lifelong love of learning through play. Through child-led experiences, creativity and nurturing relationships, every child is supported to grow in confidence, independence and wellbeing while learning at their own unique pace. Healthy, nutritious meals and snacks are included throughout the day, creating a relaxed, family-style environment where children can flourish.
My Experience
As a mother, I bring valuable first-hand parenting experience alongside many years of caring for young children from infancy onwards. I also have experience supporting children with additional learning needs, including autism, enabling me to provide patient, inclusive and nurturing care tailored to each child’s individual needs.
My Qualifications
CIW registered childminder with all mandatory training, plus Prevent Duty, Infection Prevention and Control, and UK GDPR/Data Protection. Dedicated to ongoing professional development and providing safe, nurturing, high-quality childcare.
My Availability
Rainbow Roots Childcare is open Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:30pm. I currently have availability across all days and welcome enquiries for both full-time and part-time places. Although I am registered to care for up to 10 children, I intentionally care for fewer children at any one time to provide a more personal, attentive and nurturing service.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.25 per hour
