My Summary

My Experience

I work as a lead coach at the Blue Flames Multi Sports Summer Camps where I teach children aged 4-15, a range of different sports which has developed my leadership and communication skills by clearly explaining and demonstrating activities. I have undertaken training in ADHD and autism awareness which helps me to be more inclusive and adapt my teaching techniques accordingly. We run these camps in school holidays to keep the children on an active schedule while having fun and socialising. These children come from diverse backgrounds so it is important that we can adapt to their individual needs. I am also an elite figure skater and wanted to help the next generation of figure skaters. I coach children aged 2-5 basic ice skating skills which has taught me to break down complex skills into simple, manageable steps while keeping the lesson engaging and enjoyable. This has also taught me to be patient and encouraging to keep the children motivated and confident. Furthermore, I coach at North East Athletic Development (NEAD). I began training with NEAD as an athlete in 2019 and progressed to become a coach and help with the development of other athletes. I also coach 1-1 SEND children to develop their coordination, general strength and overall confidence. I also aim to promote a healthy lifestyle from a young age by incorporating general fitness and well-being into everyday life. From this, I have developed my leadership, teamwork and resilience.

My Qualifications

I achieved 10 GCSEs including a grade 9 in Maths and Physical Education and a 6 in English Language. I have just finished studying the A Levels; Biology, Maths and Physical Education. I am fully DBS checked and have undertaken training in Autism and ADHD awareness.
