Hi my names Chloe and I’m 21 years old and I’m from Marlborough! I am a Third Year student at University of York studying BSc Psychology in Education.
I am fully DBS checked and have paediatric first aid training as well as a level two award in safeguarding.I am very keen to gain more experience looking after/working with children to help further my future career goals! I would describe myself as an enthusiastic, bubbly, talkative individual who is also flexible as I believe I can adapt myself to new situations and experiences well.
My Experience
As part of my degree I completed a 3 month volunteering placement with YSIS (York Students in Schools) where I was an assistant/play worker in a playgroup looking after children aged 0-5.
I am currently employed in York through Brook Babes which is a family run nursery in Wetherby, through this job I am hired as a play worker at the local primary school situated next door to the nursery. My responsibilities include looking after children aged 4-11 from 3-6pm, this includes safeguarding, giving the children dinner, ensuring they have things to do and play with, promoting positive behaviour and all around creating a safe, welcoming and comfortable environment for the children.
My Qualifications
GCSEs- 8 GCSEs consisting of grades 4-8
A-Levels- A*BB
Currently working towards my undergraduate degree in BSc Psychology in Education.
My Availability
I am available most weekday evenings as well as weekends.
