About Me
Hi! My name is Alice, and I'm an 18 year old with a genuine passion for working with children. Although I haven't worked as a professional babysitter yet, I have gained valuable experiences when caring for my younger brother and younger cousins. Through this, I have learned how to keep children safe and entertained. I am kind, reliable, energetic and trustworthy person and I always aim to create a positive and caring environment where children feel comfortable and happy. I know that it is important for the parent to know that their children are in safe hands, and I would love the opportunity to provide reliable childcare while giving the parents peace of mind.
My Experience
Over the past few years I've babysat my little brother (age 5 onwards) and little cousins( 4 and 6).
In 2024 I worked at CenterPoint Trust working in the age category (4-11) where I looked after the children and helped set up and do activities that helped them keep up and develop their skills alongside the EYFS.
I am currently working at Busy Beans Nursery. At the start I was in the baby room (0-2) where I would look after the babies and keep them entertained with different activities, I would also feed them either a bottle if they had a bottle or with soild food if they were eating solids. The babies would also have naps during the days so would help put them to bed and also change their nappies.
I have recently moved into the toddler room (2-3) In this room they are a lot more independent so I set up the room with different activities that the children can do it's a lot more independent play but I love to get involved with what they are doing. I also read them stories which they love. When it comes to their lunches they eat on their own but I sit with them incase they need help. I also help put the children to bed and help them with their toilet training.
I also have my enhanced DBS.
My Qualifications
I have my:
The Jersey Progression Diploma In Childcare and Education ( Distinction*)
The Jersey Progression Certificate In Childcare and Education ( Merit)
Level 2 in Food Safety and Hygiene
My Availability
I can do Monday to Thursday before school till the evening and Fridays I can do morning through till after school.

- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
My standard babysitting rate is £13-£14per hour.
