I am a friendly, bubbly and caring individual with a genuine passion for working with children. My Experience
I have a range of experience working with children across different age groups and settings. I have babysat family members which have helped develop strong skills in providing safe, engaging and nurturing care. I work full-time in a nursery where I supported children’s learning and development, planned activities, followed safeguarding procedures and build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues. I completed a primary school placement, gaining experience supporting pupils in the classroom, assisting with learning activities and promoting positive behaviour. I have also completed Level 3 childcare qualification & paediatric first aid training and have experience providing one-to-one support, adapting my approach to meet individual children’s needs and helping them reach their full potential. Through these experiences, I have developed excellent communication, teamwork, organisation and child-centred care skills.
My Qualifications
I have a Level 3 Childcare qualification and experience working in a nursery. This has given me a solid understanding of child development, behaviour management, safeguarding, communication and supporting children with their learning and emotional wellbeing. I am confident working as part of a team, building positive relationships and creating an inclusive environment where children can thrive.
My Availability
From September onwards, my availability will become much more flexible as I will be reducing my current nursery role to part-time while continuing my BA degree at university. During university term time, I will have Fridays free from university and will be available to work on Fridays, as well as evenings and weekends. Outside of term time, my availability is even more flexible. I will also have my full driving licence, allowing me to travel more easily and offer greater flexibility to families. I am also open to becoming a full-time nanny for the right family, making my availability even more open and adaptable to meet your family’s needs.
