My Experience

I have a range of experience working with children across different age groups and settings. I have babysat family members which have helped develop strong skills in providing safe, engaging and nurturing care. I work full-time in a nursery where I support children’s learning and development, plan activities, follow safeguarding procedures and build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues. I completed a primary school placement, gaining experience supporting pupils in the classroom, assisting with learning activities and promoting positive behaviour. I have also completed Level 3 childcare qualification & paediatric first aid training and have experience providing one-to-one support, adapting my approach to meet individual children’s needs and helping them reach their full potential.

My Qualifications

I have a Level 3 Childcare qualification and experience working in a nursery. This has given me a solid understanding of child development, behaviour management, safeguarding, communication and supporting children with their learning and emotional wellbeing.

My Availability

From September onwards, my availability will become much more flexible as I will be reducing my current nursery role to part-time while continuing my BA degree at university. During university term time, I will have Monday free from university and will be available to work on Monday’s, as well as evenings and weekends. Outside of term time, my availability is even more flexible. I also have my full driving licence, allowing me to travel more easily and offer greater flexibility to families. I am also open to becoming a full-time nanny for the right family, making my availability even more open and adaptable to meet your family’s needs.
