Seeking part-time after-school nanny for 6 year old with boy with downs syndrome
About Me
Me (dad) , Brona (mum) Aoibhinn (11) and Eoin (6).
Mum works 3 days per week during term time.
Dad works full time until 18.30 M-F.
Aoibhinn starts big school in September and is self sufficient for the periods we need cover for Eoin (Wed Thu 14.00-18.00).
Eoin has just completed P 1 and we are making plans for P2. He has downs syndrome and is in mainstream primary school. He is the most loving caring child who needs someone to look after him and champion him.
My Requirements
From September Eoin will require being picked up from school 14.00 on Wednesday and Thursday and taken home and looked after until mum comes home at 18.00. We are hoping we could start sessions to include Tuesday mornings (Tuesday afternoon optional) in August to develop familiarity. Eoin has downs syndrome and has mild/ moderate learning difficulty so although not complex he does require 1:1 attention.
Having one year of mainstream school already over him he is developing a fantastic personality.
