My Requirements

My partner and I have a happy, curious 2-year old and we are looking for a warm, reliable, experienced nanny or family assistant to support our family on a part-time basis from October onwards, with some initial settle sessions or trial days in August or September.
 
Our current thinking is approximately 12-15 guaranteed hours per week, structured around:
 
* Nursery pick-up and after-school care 2-3 days a week (3pm - 7pm)
* A mid-week daytime session for family meal preparation and laundry
* Occasionally additional days/hours when one parent is travelling for work.
 
We are open to discussing the exact structure and timings with the right person.

We'd love someone who genuinely enjoys caring for children and who can become a trusted and consistent part of our family’s support network for the long term. In addition, as we are a multicultural family, we are keen to find someone who values diversity and who would feel comfortable helping our child grow up with a positive sense of their identity and the different cultures that shape our family.
 
Excellent references and relevant childcare experience will be important.
