About Me
Hello! My name is Libby and my husband is Brian. We are looking for a babysitter to take care of our sweet and happy baby (born January 2026) daughter for four to five hours a week from September 2026 - June 2026 while I finish a teaching certification (I attend part-time).
We are looking for someone who, above anything else, is warm and loving. We identify strongly with Montessori philosophy, in which we guide our daughter to develop her independence and concentration by helping her to do things by herself. We do not need someone who is Montessori trained, but hope you will be open to following some simple strategies while she is in your care that we can walk you through (nothing crazy!). But if you’re someone who loves children, has experience with babies, and enjoys being actively present around them, we would love to hear from you.
There is a six week period between January and February 2026 during which we will also need full time care for our daughter (around 8:30-5:00, M-F). Ideally whoever we hire to babysit would be able to support us with this, but this is not required.
Please note that Brian works from home in a separate office space and also that we have a medium-sized and very sweet dog who will mostly be in the office with him.

My Requirements
Regular weekly babysitting on Wednesday or Thursday mornings, approximately 8:30/9am until 12:30/1pm (4-5 hours). Occasional full-time weeks where babysitter would come every day. Montessori training preferred.
