About Me
Hi everyone! I'm looking for a mother's helper role in Falmouth.
I'm hoping to support a parent or carer with one baby or toddler for a few hours each week as a helping pair of hands. My goal is to learn how to care for young children in a calm, supportive environment where I can build my confidence gradually.
I’m abit of a child myself at heart, I love nature, being creative and imaginative, and I’m generally a very kind and patient person. I’ve always wanted to have some little nieces or nephews to play with before eventually having children of my own, but I think my sister is abit sick of me always saying this to her, so I just thought let’s try my luck on here!
I am abit shy at first, but once you get to know me I am fun, nurturing and reliable.
My Experience
I have little experience with children, apart from this one time I went to volenteer at a daycare in a South African township, where most days I was crammed into a tiny room in someone’s house with approximately 40 3-5 year olds, sometimes on my own. This I found quite overwhelming, hence why I’m only looking to help with ideally just one child for now, to build my confidence up as this was a few years ago and it was pretty much the only experience I’ve had looking after children.
My Qualifications
Level 10 enthusiasm certification
Advanced eagerness to learn modules 1-10 with distinction
My Availability
For now im only available Thursday afternoons.
My Fees
- Household Help from £15.00 per hour
Currently the only payment I would really appreciate is patience, gratitude and kindness. It says I have to put a number in the rate box tho so if I had to be paid I’ll just say £15 per hour:)
