I am a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Year 13 student studying BTEC Level 3 Business and Health & Social Care, with predicted grades of DDM. I am passionate about working with children and helping them learn, grow, and thrive in a safe and supportive environment. Through my education and work experience, I have gained strong communication, teamwork, organisation, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to build positive relationships with others. As a First Aid trained individual, I can remain calm and act responsibly in challenging situations. I am keen to begin a career in childcare, where I can apply my skills, gain further practical experience, and contribute positively to children’s development and wellbeing.
My Experience
I loved working in Reception and Year 2 because I enjoyed listening to the children share their ideas, experiences, and achievements. Using active listening helped them feel heard, valued, and confident. I also enjoyed supporting their learning, watching them develop new skills, and seeing their confidence grow every single day together.
