My Experience

I have experience caring for children aged 0-16. My responsibilities have included general care and play with children, school pick ups and drop offs with afterschool care such as preparing meals, helping with homework, organising fun and educational activities, bedtime routines, and ensuring children’s safety and well-being.

I have been providing childcare for 4 years and have cared for many children in both regular and occasional settings. I am known for being patient, reliable, and caring, and I enjoy creating a safe, happy, and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and thrive.

I have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and understand that every child has unique needs. I am patient, compassionate, and committed to providing personalised support that helps each child feel safe, included, and valued. I adapt my approach to suit each child’s individual strengths, preferences, and developmental needs while creating a positive and nurturing environment.

My Qualifications

I hold the following qualifications:
Level 3 Health and Social Care
RlSS lifeguarding qualification

I have also completed professional training or certifications, including:
First aid
Safeguarding
Adult, Child and newborn resuscitation

I am also undergoing a degree in Occupational therapy which i hope to peruse a career in children’s services.

These qualifications have given me the knowledge and skills to provide safe, engaging, and high-quality childcare while supporting children’s learning, development, and well-being. I am committed to maintaining my professional knowledge through ongoing training and development where appropriate.

My Availability

I am available on most days. I can provide childcare during mornings, daytimes, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and school holidays as needed.
