# Warm Household Companion & Housekeeper (Live-out) – Teddington

We're a warm, relaxed family in Teddington looking for a kind, dependable person to become an important part of our household.

I'm a widowed mum of two fantastic boys (12 and 15) who are polite, funny and very independent. I run my own business as a psychologist, and after many years of juggling everything on my own, I'm looking for someone who enjoys helping a busy family and takes pride in creating a calm, welcoming home.

Our household also includes Merlin, our friendly Tibetan Terrier, and two much-loved cats.

This isn't a nanny role and it isn't simply a cleaning job. It's about helping our home run smoothly and becoming someone we can trust and rely on for years to come.

### The role includes:

* Cooking simple, healthy family meals.
* Laundry, ironing and changing beds.
* Keeping the house tidy, organised and running smoothly.
* Walking Merlin.
* Occasional food shopping and errands.
* Looking after Merlin, the cats and the plants while we're away.
* Being at the house for approximately one weekend a month when I'm away with work or training. The boys are independent teenagers and don't need entertaining or parenting—just another responsible adult around if needed.

### We're looking for someone who is:

* Warm, kind and emotionally intelligent.
* Honest, discreet and trustworthy.
* Proactive, organised and takes pride in noticing what needs doing.
* Happy around teenagers, dogs and cats.
* A confident cook who enjoys creating a welcoming home.
* Looking for a long-term role where they'll become a valued part of our family's life.



Ideally around 12-15 hours per week**, with some flexibility by mutual agreement. We're happy to discuss a pattern that works for the right person.
