About Me
I am a mum to a beautiful 12 month old girl. Being a mum has been the most rewarding role I’ve had in my life as growing up I was always babysitting & caring for my young cousins and siblings. My daughter loves other children just as much as I do and is always eager to play with others. I would love for her to have a friend to join us on our Wednesday funday. This consists of attending a baby group, fresh air at the park and then relaxing at home; reading, ball pit fun, sensory games, learning etc. Would be lovely to have a child around her age of any gender to enjoy the day with us.
My Experience
Since I was 4 years old I have attended a club called Girls brigade. I then went on to become a Young Leader at age 14 and then officially a Leader since I was 18. I attend this volunteer role every Friday evening to this day for 3 hours and it includes, learning, craft and games. I spent a few years from age 16 getting work experience in a couple nurseries. My experience also stretches to the other end of the spectrum as I’ve worked as a specialised dementia carer since 2023 which I still do part time. Since I was 14 I’ve spent many hours babysitting my younger cousins who ranged from as young as 6 months to 10 years old.
My Qualifications
I have completed a level 2 health and social care diploma. I have extensive training in first aid, dementia, moving & handling etc through my job as a carer. That knowledge I believe has carried over into my role as a mother and how I view situations, safety and communication. N
My Availability
Wednesdays is ideal but Thursdays I have no commitments either so could plan activities to do that day. Any times between 9am - 6pm.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
No fees required. The hourly pay I ask for would cover any food or activities we do.
