Welcome to Trooping Colours Childminding! We are a warm, welcoming home-from-home childcare setting run by a mother and daughter team who are passionate about providing a safe, nurturing and fun environment where every child can thrive.
Our setting offers a balance of child-led play, educational activities, outdoor adventures and creative experiences that support every stage of development. We celebrate seasonal events, cultural festivals and themed activity days throughout the year, helping children learn about the world around them while making wonderful memories.
We also love getting out into the local community and will regularly organise exciting day trips and outings, such as visits to parks, farms, nature trails, libraries, museums and other child-friendly attractions, giving children opportunities to explore, learn and build confidence through real-life experiences.
We believe in building strong partnerships with families, providing regular updates and creating an environment where children feel happy, valued and excited to learn each day.
My Experience
Our team is committed to providing the highest standard of childcare and is working towards meeting all Ofsted requirements, including Enhanced DBS checks, Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, Food Hygiene and all mandatory childcare training.
As a mother and daughter team, we bring a combination of family values, patience, creativity and professionalism to everything we do. We are passionate about creating engaging learning opportunities through play, outdoor exploration, arts and crafts, sensory activities and daily routines that help children grow in confidence and independence.
Every child is treated as an individual, with activities planned around their interests, developmental needs and learning journey in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
My Qualifications
At Trooping Colours Childminding, we are committed to providing the highest standard of childcare. Our team is currently completing all required training and registrations, including Enhanced DBS checks, Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, Food Hygiene and all mandatory childcare courses in preparation for our Ofsted registration.
We are dedicated to continuous professional development and creating a safe, caring and stimulating environment where every child can learn, grow and flourish.
My Fees
- Childminding from £8.50 per hour
Our standard childcare rate is £8.50 per hour.
We accept both privately funded children and Government-funded childcare hours (subject to eligibility). Our fees include a warm, home-from-home environment, age-appropriate activities, outdoor play, arts and crafts, sensory experiences and learning in line with the EYFS.
Healthy meals and snacks are provided throughout the day where required. We also plan regular local outings and exciting day trips to enrich children’s learning and development. Any additional admission costs for special trips will always be discussed with parents in advance.
School drop-offs and pick-ups are available, and additional hours may be available by prior arrangement, subject to availability.
