My Summary

My Experience

I have a huge amount of experience with children of all ages. I have worked for many years as a private nanny. Included in my duties I was responsible for giving them heaps of fun both outdoors and in their own home. Taking the children to activity mornings such as music, gymnastic and sport groups. My role also included providing healthy meals, establishing routines and school runs for older children. During my time as a nanny I also provided care for newborn twins as well as their siblings.
For 12 years I worked on the community as a Nursery Nurse with Health Visitors. During my time in post I supported families in their own homes with child behaviour, weaning, breast feeding, toilet training, sleep routines and play. I also ran Child Heath Clinics, where parents could drop in with their babies/children, have them weighed, discuss any concerns and seek advise.
My experience also extends to working for two years in the maternity department of the John Radcliffe hospital, supporting mothers to establish breast or bottle feeding. Along side this I carried out daily baby observations and general early day support in those special few days after birth.
On a final note I have the privilege of being a mum myself and understand children on a parent level with all the joys and challenges that can bring!

My Qualifications

Nursery Nursing Diploma - 2 year course.
(NNEB)
First aid trained in adult and paediatrics.

My Availability

I can be fairly flexible Monday to Friday depending on what is required. I could also offer additional baby sitting and occasional weekend work. I would be open to a full time or part time position.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
