About Me

I am a caring, patient and dedicated parent with hands-on experience supporting my daughter’s growth, development and daily needs. Being a mother has strengthened my understanding of children’s emotions, communication, routines and individual differences. I have developed strong nurturing, organisational and problem-solving skills through providing a safe, supportive and encouraging environment for my daughter. I am passionate about helping children feel confident, included and valued, with a particular interest in supporting children with additional needs. I am looking to bring my experience, compassion and commitment into a childcare/SEN setting.

My Experience

I have gained experience supporting children through my previous roles as a Teaching Assistant, where I developed an understanding of children’s learning, development and the importance of creating a positive and inclusive environment. Since becoming a parent in 2023, I have gained hands-on experience caring for my daughter and supporting her day-to-day needs, development and wellbeing. This has strengthened my patience, empathy, organisation and ability to recognise and respond to individual needs.

I have completed a Step Up to HE course and am currently studying an Education degree at university, specialising in Special Educational Needs. I am passionate about supporting children to feel confident, included and valued, and I aim to continue developing my skills within childcare and SEN settings.

My Availability

I am available for occasional morning and midday shifts, with greater availability during afternoons and after-school hours. I am flexible where possible and am happy to discuss suitable working patterns to fit the needs of the setting.
