About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder and I provide a warm, nurturing and stimulating home-from-home environment where children feel safe, happy, and valued.
As a parent to two young children, I understand the importance of creating a caring, inclusive setting. My children are often part of our childminding day, helping to create a welcoming family atmosphere where children can build friendships and develop confidence through play and shared experiences.
I plan a wide range of fun, engaging activities that support each child’s learning and development, helping them reach their full potential while encouraging curiosity, independence, and a love of learning.
I also offer convenient drop-off and pick-up services for children attending Bexton School, making school runs as easy as possible for families.
My Experience
With over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages, abilities, and individual needs, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), I am passionate about supporting every child to thrive.

Sophie is absolutely wonderful, kind, reliable, and genuinely caring. From the moment I met her, I felt completely at ease, and our children feel happy and secure in her care. She creates a warm, fun environment with plenty of activities and learning opportunities. Communication is excellent, and we’re always kept updated. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her and couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Sophie is incredible and made leaving my little boy 2 days a week so much easier! He LOVES his time there and Sophie offers a first class service. They do lots of outdoor play, painting, sensory, singing and even park visits. Her house is spotless and I couldn’t recommend her more :)
