Hi! I'm an experienced practitioner with a real passion for helping children learn, play, and grow. I love getting stuck into messy play, creating exciting tuff trays, and planning fun, hands-on activities that spark imagination and curiosity. As an autistic adult with Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), I bring both professional knowledge and lived experience to supporting children of all abilities, creating a calm, inclusive, and understanding environment where they can thrive.
Please note that due to my employment, I am unable to provide babysitting services for children who attend the school where I work.
My Experience
I currently work in a primary school, supporting children across a range of ages and needs. Before this, I worked in a nursery, giving me experience with younger children and helping me develop a strong understanding of early childhood development. Across both settings, I have gained extensive experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), adapting activities, supporting communication, and creating environments where every child feels safe, understood, and able to thrive.
Alongside my professional roles, I have several years of babysitting experience, caring for children of different ages, personalities, and support needs. I tailor my approach to each child and family, whether that's planning engaging activities, supporting routines and bedtime, or simply providing a fun, nurturing, and dependable environment where children can feel comfortable and confident.
My Qualifications
I have a BA Hons 2:1 in early childhood studies alongside consistent online training from the sunshine academy to better my understanding!
My Availability
I'm available for babysitting most evenings and weekends! If you're looking for regular childcare or have specific requirements, please feel free to get in touch and I'll do my best to accommodate your family's needs.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
