My Experience

My career has taken me from private nannying and luxury holiday childcare to leadership roles within outstanding early years settings, giving me a unique blend of hands-on childcare experience, educational knowledge, and leadership expertise. I have had the privilege of working with families from a wide range of backgrounds, including high-profile clients and individuals in the public eye, where professionalism, discretion, and trust were of the utmost importance.

As a former Nursery Manager and Leader of Learning, I successfully opened and managed a brand-new nursery, mentored childcare professionals, and had the privilege of supervising Norland Nanny students during their professional placements, supporting them in developing the exceptional standards of care and professionalism for which Norland is renowned. I have also worked with Dukes Education, further developing my leadership skills and commitment to delivering exceptional standards within early years education.

Throughout my career, I have been recognised for my dedication to outstanding childcare, having worked in award-winning settings and contributed to teams recognised for excellence within the sector. I have extensive experience caring for children of all ages, including newborns, babies, toddlers, school-aged children, and teenagers. My experience also includes supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), additional learning needs, and complex medical conditions, working closely with families and healthcare professionals to provide individualised, holistic care. Families often describe me as calm, organised, approachable, and dependable, and I pride myself on building trusting relationships and becoming a valued part of family life.

My Qualifications

I am committed to continuous professional development and maintaining the highest standards of childcare. I hold a Level 5 Qualification in Leadership and Management through Dukes Education and a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education. I am a qualified Designated Safeguarding Lead and hold a current Paediatric First Aid certificate.

My professional development includes specialist training in Emotion Coaching, Montessori and Reggio Emilia-inspired practice, safeguarding, food hygiene and food safety, the Prevent Duty and British Values, children's sexual exploitation awareness, and British Sign Language. Throughout my career, I have continued to expand my knowledge through regular professional development, ensuring my practice reflects current research and best practice in early childhood education and care.

Alongside my qualifications, I bring creativity, professionalism, and a genuine passion for helping children thrive. Whether supporting a busy household, planning enriching educational experiences, or simply creating a calm and loving home environment, my aim is always to provide exceptional care while helping children grow into confident, kind, and capable individuals.

I am open to a flexible work schedule, but ideally would love a full-time position.
