My Experience

I have several years of babysitting experience caring for children for family members, family friends, and other local families. My responsibilities have included supervising children, preparing meals and snacks, helping with homework, organising fun and educational activities, assisting with bedtime routines, and ensuring a safe, caring, and positive environment. Through these experiences, I have developed strong communication, patience, responsibility, and problem solving skills, allowing me to build trusting relationships with both children and parents.

My Qualifications

Although I do not hold formal childcare qualifications, I have strong practical experience working with children and in responsible supervision roles. I have babysat for family members, family friends, and other families, where I have been responsible for supervising children, preparing meals, assisting with homework, and supporting bedtime routines.

I have also worked at a children’s camp, where I helped supervise groups of children, organised activities, and ensured their safety and wellbeing in a busy and active environment. In addition, I work as an exam invigilator, which has strengthened my ability to remain calm, responsible, and attentive while supervising groups of children and ensuring rules and safety procedures are followed.

These experiences have developed my communication, patience, leadership, and problem solving skills, and I am confident in my ability to provide a safe, caring, and supportive environment for children.
