About Me

I am a parent of four children. Three of my children are now adults, and my youngest child. My youngest child is autistic and pre-verbal.

We are a small, close-knit family. We are supportive, loving, and work together to provide a stable and nurturing home. My youngest child is at the heart of our family, and we are committed to helping him feel safe, understood, and able to access the opportunities and support needed to thrive.

As a family, we advocate strongly for him because we know him best. Our goal is to provide a safe and secure home environment, ensure they receive the right support, and promote their inclusion in family and community life. We work collaboratively as a family and value working in partnership with professionals to meet my child's long-term needs.

We are currently looking for a buddy to provide additional support for my youngest child. We hope this will give him opportunities to build confidence, develop social and communication skills, enjoy meaningful activities in the community, and form a positive, trusting relationship. This support would also help our family by providing additional assistance to meet my child's individual needs.
