About Me
We are a friendly, busy family of four based in Tadworth with two wonderful children, aged 14 and 9. Both my husband and I work full-time, and I travel occasionally for work, so we’re looking for someone reliable, proactive and kind who enjoys helping a busy household run smoothly. The role is primarily housekeeping—cleaning, laundry, changing beds, organising and keeping the home tidy—but we’d love to find someone who is happy to become part of our family’s routine for the long term. Childcare experience would be a bonus, as there may be occasional school pick-ups in the future, but our priority is finding someone who takes pride in creating a calm, well-run home.
My Requirements
Our children are aged 14 and 9 and are largely independent, so this role is primarily focused on housekeeping rather than childcare. However, we may occasionally need support with school pick-ups or after-school care in the future. Our youngest is neurodivergent, so experience of supporting children with autism and/or ADHD would be a real advantage, although it is by no means essential. Much more important to us is finding someone who is patient, kind, reliable and happy to become a trusted part of our family’s routine over the long term.
We are looking for around 10 hours per week and are pretty flexible on when that time is spread across the week. Ideally some time on a Friday to set us up for the weekend but we are flexible on other days/times.
