Katarina
Nanny in Cirencester
My Summary
About Me
I am a reliable, trustworthy, highly educated, and mature professional looking for a part-time nanny position in the Cirencester area to support a family with young children. Originally from Slovakia, I have lived in the UK for 32 years and reside locally with my husband.
I bring a calm, patient, and warm presence to the households I support. My goal is to provide a nurturing, safe, and enriching environment for your child/children while helping your daily routine run smoothly.
My Experience
Nanny & Mother's Help Experience: I have practical experience working as an after-school nanny and mother's help in Greater London, caring for a 3-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl. My role included school pickups, driving them to activities, supporting them with homework, preparing nutritious dinners, and managing calm, supportive bath and bedtime routines. During my time in childcare, I have also successfully supported children with ADHD, helping them manage transitions, schoolwork, and daily routines with patience and understanding.
Early Years Education & Development: I hold a formal Kindergarten Teacher qualification from Slovakia. I spent four years in college focusing on child development, play, music, and art, which gives me a wonderful foundation for engaging creatively with children. I have also completed advanced professional certifications in health coaching and nervous system regulation. This training allows me to bring an extra layer of calm to the home, help children navigate big emotions peacefully, and prepare healthy, wholesome meals that kids actually enjoy.
Household Support: Alongside my childcare experience, I am highly educated (holding a Master’s degree from the LSE) and very practical around the home. I am happy to help busy parents with food prep/cooking, organising, and keeping the house tidy if that's needed.
My Qualifications
Early Years Education: Formal 4-Year Kindergarten Teacher Qualification (Slovakia Pedagogy College) – Specialising in child development, play-based learning, music, and art.
Health & Wellness Certifications: Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach (Institute for Integrative Nutrition, New York)
Behavioural & Emotional Support Training: Advanced training in somatic studies (Focalizing Institute), nervous system regulation, and therapeutic/trauma-informed caregiving.
My Availability
I am looking for a part-time position offering between 15 to 20+ hours per week. I am flexible with my days and happy to adapt to your family's unique schedule.

- Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)
