My Summary

My Experience

Having previously worked as a tutor at explore learning (working with pupils from ages 4-16), volunteered at my local library’s ‘Summer Reading Challenge’ helping young students in nursery and primary school develop a love of reading, and helped to run an after school MFL club at a local school for pupils in years reception to 6, I have developed key childcare skills, learning how to foster a positive environment in which children feel safe and respected. Outside of these more formal roles, in which I was fortunate enough to recieve more formal training in childcare, I am the oldest grandchild and have been looking after my family and their friends’ children when needed since I was a teenager.

My Qualifications

I achieved 3 A star grades in A levels in French, History, and Classical Greek as well as an A star in my EPQ. (also attaining my DELF B2 at the start of sixth form). At GCSE I achieved 10 grade 9s in English literature, language, Maths, Triple Science, Geography, History and Classical Greek.

I am going into my second year of my Undergraduate in French (lang and lit) at Oxford, and have in my previous roles acquired an enhanced DBS certificate and training in safeguarding children, Maths and English Tutoring, and 11+ Tutoring.

My Availability

During the summer holidays (which last from July to early October) I am pretty flexible and have no current commitments.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
• Tutoring from £17.00 per hour

Generally speaking, I charge £14/hour for babysitting and £16/hour for private tutoring- but I am happy to have a conversation about fees on a situational basis.
