Babysitter in Southampton
My Summary
About Me
Hi, I’m Lily! I’m a university student-athlete and a part-time coach with a genuine love for working with children.
As the oldest sister, granddaughter, and niece in my family, I’ve been helping to care for younger children from an early age. Over the years, I’ve also babysat for family friends, giving me experience with children of different ages and personalities.
I’m friendly, bubbly, and full of energy, but I also understand the importance of setting clear boundaries and creating a safe, respectful environment. Whether we’re playing games, helping with homework, or sticking to bedtime routines, I aim to make children feel happy, comfortable, and cared for while giving parents peace of mind.
One person I’ve worked alongside said it best: “I can totally verify that Lily loves children and they love her. Endless patience and energy. ??” I think that sums up why I enjoy babysitting so much—I love building positive relationships with children and helping them have fun while feeling safe and supported.
I’d love the opportunity to meet your family and help whenever you need a reliable, caring babysitter!
My Experience
I’ve been babysitting for family and friends for several years, caring for children of different ages and building strong, trusting relationships with both children and parents.
Alongside babysitting, I’m a part-time children’s coach, running two coaching sessions each week. I’ve also volunteered up to four days a week coaching children, which has given me valuable experience leading groups, planning engaging activities, encouraging confidence, and ensuring every child feels included and supported.
As a university student-athlete, I’m organised, responsible, and able to stay calm in busy situations. I’m also DBS checked, giving parents added reassurance that their children are in safe hands.
Through both coaching and babysitting, I’ve developed the patience, energy, and confidence to care for children while creating a fun, positive, and respectful environment where they can thrive.
My Qualifications
I hold an enhanced DBS check and a Level 2 Coaching Qualification, and I am currently completing my First Aid training. These qualifications, combined with my experience working with children, help me provide a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment for every child in my care.
My Availability
My availability is very flexible. Alongside my studies, I work as a sports therapist, but I choose my own hours and have an incredibly understanding employer who is supportive of my other commitments. This means I can usually adjust my schedule to accommodate babysitting, including evenings, weekends, and school holidays.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
My hourly rate reflects my experience working with children, including several years of babysitting, coaching, and my enhanced DBS check.
