My Experience

I have 7 years of hands-on childcare experience caring for my nephew, who I have looked after every Wednesday since he was born. Over the years, I’ve gained experience caring for him through different ages and stages of his childhood. My responsibilities have included preparing meals and snacks, keeping him entertained with games and activities, helping with routines and making sure he is safe, happy and comfortable. I’ve also completed my first year of Health and Social Care, which has given me further knowledge of children’s development, needs and wellbeing. I’m confident, patient and comfortable caring for children independently. ??

My Qualifications

I have GCSE qualifications, including Mathematics and Child Development, and I have also completed my first year of Health and Social Care at college. Through my studies, I have gained knowledge of child development, safeguarding, health and safety, communication and supporting the needs and wellbeing of others. My education has helped me understand the importance of providing children with a safe, caring and supportive environment, as well as being patient, responsible and attentive to their individual needs. ???

My Availability

I currently work full-time, so I am available after 6pm Monday to Friday and have full availability throughout the weekend. I’m currently working towards passing my driving test, and once I have my licence, I’m hoping to move away from full-time office work and pursue nannying as a full-time career. I’m passionate about working with children and would love to find a family I can build a trusting, long-term relationship with. In the meantime, I’m available for evening and weekend babysitting and would be happy to provide regular or occasional childcare depending on your family’s needs. ???
