My Experience

I have gained valuable experience working in a variety of childcare and educational settings, including nurseries, primary schools, specialist SEN roles and school transport services.

As a Teaching Assistant and 1:1 SEN Support Assistant, I worked closely with children with a wide range of additional needs, supporting their learning, emotional wellbeing and personal development throughout the school day. I have experience assisting with personal care, encouraging independence, adapting learning activities and working alongside teachers and SENCOs to meet each child's individual needs.

I have also worked as a Play Worker in a nursery and preschool, planning and delivering engaging play activities while ensuring children were safe, happy and actively involved. In my current role as a Passenger Assistant, I support children during school transport, ensuring their safety, comfort and emotional wellbeing while providing reassurance and building positive relationships.

These roles have strengthened my communication skills, patience, safeguarding awareness and ability to provide consistent, compassionate care in both one-to-one and group settings.
