My Experience

I have experience working as a babysitter for a 6-year-old girl. My responsibilities included ensuring her safety and well-being, preparing meals and snacks, helping with homework, organising fun and engaging activities, and following her daily routine, including bedtime when required. I built a positive and trusting relationship with both the child and her family by being reliable, patient, and attentive. This experience strengthened my childcare skills, communication, and ability to provide a safe, caring, and supportive environment for children

My Qualifications

I hold a BTEC in Health and Social Care, which has given me a strong understanding of safeguarding, communication, health and safety, and providing person-centred care. Although I do not have a formal childcare qualification, I have practical experience working as a babysitter for a 6-year-old child, where I developed skills in child supervision, creating engaging activities, and supporting a child’s daily routine in a safe and caring environment. I have also previously completed a DBS check and am willing to obtain an updated Enhanced DBS check if required.

My Availability

I have flexible availability and can work weekdays, evenings, and weekends. I am reliable, punctual, and willing to discuss a schedule that meets your family’s needs. I am also available for occasional babysitting, after-school care, and evening childcare.
