About Me
Hello,
We are a warm, friendly family based in Bromsgrove with two wonderful children: our four-year-old daughter and our 16-month-old son. We are currently looking for school wrap-around childcare from September 2026, when our daughter starts school.
We're a two-mum family, and family life is at the heart of everything we do. Our home is also shared with Geoffrey the cat and Twig the dog, who are very much part of the family and keep us all entertained.
As a family, we love spending time outdoors. Whether it's going for walks, visiting parks, exploring nature, splashing in puddles, or getting thoroughly messy with outdoor play, we're happiest when we're out and about having adventures. We also enjoy reading stories together, arts and crafts, baking, and other creative activities that spark imagination and curiosity.
We spend a lot of our free time holidaying in South Wales, where we love exploring the beaches, coastal paths, and beautiful outdoor spaces. Creating happy memories together and encouraging a love of the outdoors is something that is very important to us.
As a two-mum family, it is incredibly important that any childcare setting we choose is genuinely inclusive and affirming. We want our children to grow up seeing their family represented positively and naturally, with their family structure viewed simply as another normal and valued family unit. We are looking for a childminder/ nanny who embraces diversity, uses inclusive language and narratives, and can provide an environment where our children feel fully accepted, understood, and celebrated for who they are.
Above all, we're looking for someone kind, nurturing, reliable, and fun—someone who will help our children feel safe, happy, and confident while supporting their development through play, exploration, and creativity.

My Requirements
Seeking School Wrap-Around Childcare – From September 2026
Hello,
We are a friendly family based in Bromsgrove looking for school wrap-around childcare for our daughter from September 2026, when she starts Reception at (Finstall).
We are seeking childcare 5 days per week during term time and would ideally require:
Breakfast before school
School drop-off in time for the start of the school day (school is within walking distance from our house approx 15- 20 mins or 5 mins drive).
School pick-up at the end of the day
An evening meal
Care until 6:00pm
Whilst the school offers its own wrap-around provision, we are particularly keen to find a childminder/ nanny because our daughter is late summer-born and will be one of the youngest children in her year group. We feel that having a consistent, familiar, and nurturing adult providing before- and after-school care will help support her transition into school life and provide stability, predictability, and reassurance during what will be a very big change.
Our daughter is a bright, sociable, and creative little girl who loves outdoor play, stories, crafts, messy activities, and adventures. We are hoping to find someone who can provide a warm, welcoming environment where she can feel at home before and after school.
As a two-mum family, it is also important to us that any childcare setting is inclusive, welcoming, and supportive of diverse family structures, ensuring our daughter always feels that her family is represented positively and naturally.
