My Experience

I have experience working within primary education, supporting children across a range of ages and abilities. My background includes planning and delivering engaging lessons, managing classroom behaviour positively, and adapting learning to meet individual needs. I am confident in supporting literacy, numeracy, and broader curriculum areas, as well as promoting emotional and social development. In addition to classroom teaching, I have experience caring for children outside of school settings, including babysitting, where I prioritise safety, routine, and creating a calm and enjoyable environment.

My Qualifications

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, in which I achieved a 2:1 classification. This provided me with a strong foundation in understanding social structures, development, and human behaviour, which I now apply in my work with children.

I also hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) along with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), which I achieved at Merit level.

My Availability

I am available for babysitting during evenings, weekends, and school holidays, with some flexibility depending on individual family needs. I am also open to discussing regular or one-off arrangements in advance. My schedule allows me to accommodate both short-notice and planned bookings where possible, ensuring reliable and consistent childcare support.
