About Me
We're a warm, professional couple based in Glasgow's West End (Hillhead). Our baby girl Daniela was born at the end of July 2026, and we're now looking for a kind, reliable, and experienced person to help us care for her. We value calm, gentle childcare and hope to find someone who communicates openly and fits naturally into family life. Between us, we speak English, Italian, and Portuguese, and we'd love for our daughter to grow up around languages, so a carer comfortable with a multilingual home is a bonus (though not essential). We also have a small, well-trained, friendly dog at home, so please bear that in mind if you have allergies or aren't comfortable around dogs. We're organised, respectful of the people who work with us, and easy to plan with.
My Requirements
We're looking for a part-time nanny/carer starting in October 2026 to help with our newborn daughter. The baseline is around 5 hours per day, 2/3 days per week (10/15 hours weekly), with days to be agreed. We'd also need the flexibility to increase hours to about 30/week during specific weeks, always arranged and scheduled in advance by mutual agreement. Duties are the usual newborn care: feeding, changing, settling and soothing, bathing, and helping establish gentle routines, alongside keeping the baby's areas tidy and safe. Experience with newborns and young infants is important to us. This is intended as an ongoing role, and we're happy to offer a fair gross hourly rate and a proper employment arrangement.
