About Me
I am 27 years old, I grew up in Ditchling and have recently moved to Brighton. I have been working as a children's social worker in Camden and now Sussex for 3 years and hold an enhanced DBS. My current role is Monday-Friday 9-5 so I am available outside of these hours. I have my own transport and I enjoy meeting new families and interacting with children.
My Experience
Through my job I have extensive experience interacting and caring for children of all ages, including those with SEN needs. I also completed a secondment in the childrens disabilities service and have previously worked as a carer for the elderly so I have experience in caring for disabled people and administering medication correctly.
I have a BA in history and MA/MSc in Social Work and international relations, I am therefore competent in supporting children with homework.
I have my own transport and I am comfortable driving children and using booster seats.
I am nurturing and kind towards children but also fun and I am happy to engage in play. I am also competent in ensuring that I meet their physical and emotional needs while they are in my care.
