Hi! I’m a friendly, responsible, and caring final year university student based in London with a genuine love for working with children. I’m naturally patient and calm, and I enjoy creating a positive and fun environment where children feel safe, happy, and comfortable.
I love engaging children in creative activities like reading, games, and crafts, as well as helping with routines and keeping things organised. Through both my family experience and babysitting work, I’ve developed a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to adapt to different children’s personalities and needs. I’m also reliable and easy to communicate with, and I always aim to build a good relationship with both children and parents. My Experience
I have a combination of both informal and formal childcare experience. As the eldest of six with a significant age gap, I have grown up regularly caring for my younger siblings, which has given me a strong foundation in understanding children’s needs, routines, and behaviour from an early age. I have also supported extended family members by looking after their children. More recently, I have gained formal experience through babysitting, where I have cared for children independently and developed my confidence in creating a safe, engaging, and structured environment. Alongside this, I volunteer as a literacy helper for children after school, supporting their learning and building their confidence.
I have recently acquired an enhanced DBS after having completed a safeguarding certificate and am currently working towards paediatric first aid training. I am responsible, patient, and attentive, and I always prioritise the safety and wellbeing of the children in my care, moreover, I also speak both French and Arabic, and I’m happy to incorporate this into interactions with children where appropriate.
My Qualifications
I have completed my GCSEs and A Levels and I am currently studying for a degree in International Relations and Japanese. I hold a valid DBS check and have completed a safeguarding certificate, I am also currently working towards a paediatric first aid qualification.
My Availability
Im available for most days of the weeks and I am flexible for last minute jobs.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
My standard babysitting rate is £14 per hour. I am happy to discuss rates depending on the number of children, hours required, and the specific needs of each family.
