We are a warm, welcoming, and hardworking first-generation immigrant family of three. Both of us (Mohamed and Sakeena, both 30) are practicing Muslim doctors training in the UK, and we are the proud, devoted parents of our bright, curious 7-month-old daughter, Faye.
